The brief envisioned a contemporary retreat that harmonizes with Dubai’s coastal landscape. Each form embraces light, sea, and palms—creating a serene connection between architecture and nature.
Sustainability shapes every element, from shaded passages to open courtyards that invite natural breeze and calm.
Defined by natural materials and fluid transitions, the design offers a tranquil refuge that reflects the elegance and vitality of life by the sea.
Integrated Spaces
The warm local climate inspired thoughtful architectural solutions for shading, natural ventilation, and the integration of lush outdoor environments. The design prioritizes comfort and sustainability, creating shaded verandas, cross-ventilated interiors, and fluid transitions between indoor and open-air living spaces. Each volume of the residence was carefully articulated with its own purpose, yet all are connected through a cohesive architectural language — defined by balance, lightness, and harmony with the surrounding landscape.
The generous layout unfolds through a series of inviting lounge areas — both indoors and outdoors — designed to encourage relaxation and connection with nature. Sunken living spaces, shaded terraces, and intimate seating corners blend seamlessly with the landscape. At the rear, a reflective pool becomes the heart of the residence, surrounded by custom-designed loungers and preserved palm trees that reinforce the tropical atmosphere. In a symbolic gesture, a tree rises through an opening in the architecture, embodying the project’s essence — a continuous dialogue between built form and the natural environment.
